Telegram Advanced

Telegram Advanced skill extends standard Telegram bot functionality with the full Bot API surface area. Beyond basic message sending, this skill enables channel post scheduling, group member management, poll and quiz creation, inline keyboard buttons, message reactions, file uploads up to 2GB, and voice note sending.

Channel management features: post formatted messages with Markdown or HTML, pin important announcements, edit published posts, and retrieve channel member counts. Group administration: invite users by link, kick or ban members, restrict permissions per user, and read message history for moderation purposes. The skill also supports Telegram's unique features like spoiler tags, protected content (no-forward), and silent messages that don't trigger notifications.

For developers building bots, the skill supports webhook setup and update polling in both modes. Inline bot queries let your agent respond to @mentions in any chat without being a group member. The interactive quiz and poll creation is particularly useful for community engagement automation — schedule weekly trivia polls or collect feedback with structured surveys.

Requires a Bot Token from @BotFather on Telegram (free, takes 2 minutes). The most popular communication skill in ClawHub, used by community managers, newsletter publishers, and automation engineers who use Telegram as their primary notification and publishing platform.
