YouTube Search

The YouTube Search skill lets your AI agent search YouTube for videos, retrieve auto-generated or manual transcripts, and extract structured metadata — all without opening a browser. Search by keyword, channel, topic, or duration range and receive a ranked list of results with view counts, publication dates, and engagement metrics. For any video, the skill can fetch the full transcript and summarize it, extract key timestamps and topics, identify speakers where labeled, and answer specific questions about the video's content based on the transcript. Channel analysis fetches recent uploads, subscriber counts, and average view performance. Playlist contents can be listed and transcripts batch-fetched for research purposes. The skill is useful for competitive research, learning from tutorial content, monitoring a creator's output, or quickly checking whether a video covers a specific topic before watching. Transcript export is available in plain text, SRT subtitle format, or structured JSON with timestamps. Integrates naturally with the Summarize and Web Search skills for broader research workflows.
