Home Assistant

The Home Assistant skill connects your AI agent directly to your Home Assistant instance using its REST API and WebSocket connection, exposing full control over every entity in your smart home. Turn lights on or off, set brightness and color temperature, lock or unlock doors, check sensor readings, arm security systems, and trigger automations — all through natural conversation. The skill lists all available entities on first connection and builds a room-aware mental model, so you can say 'dim the living room to 40%' or 'turn off everything in the bedroom' without specifying individual device IDs. It reads current states, history, and logbook entries to answer questions like 'was the front door open yesterday evening?'. Automation creation and editing via natural language is supported through the config flow API. Scene activation and script execution work with a single command. All communication is local to your network — no data leaves your home when using a local HA instance. Pairs seamlessly with the MQTT, Zigbee, and Voice Control skills.
