Soul Editor
The Soul Editor skill provides a safe, conversational interface for modifying your OpenClaw agent's soul.md file — the core personality and instruction document that shapes how the agent thinks and responds. Rather than manually editing a Markdown file, you describe the change you want in plain language: 'make the agent more concise in technical explanations', 'add a rule to always ask before sending emails', or 'remove the default greeting'. The skill shows you the proposed diff before applying it, explains the likely behavioral impact of each change, and lets you revert to any previous version from a saved history. Dangerous or contradictory changes — like removing safety instructions or creating conflicting rules — are flagged with warnings. Bulk import of personality fragments from templates or community-shared soul profiles is supported. A preview mode lets you test how the edited soul affects responses to sample prompts before committing the change permanently. Version tagging lets you name stable configurations ('work mode', 'creative mode') and switch between them instantly.
