How to Set Up the OpenClaw Chrome Extension?

The OpenClaw Chrome Extension connects your browser to your AI agent, letting it interact with web pages you're viewing. It's a bridge between your browsing session and the agent.

Install the extension from the Chrome Web Store (search 'OpenClaw'). Click the extension icon and enter your Gateway URL and token to connect.

With the extension active, your agent can: - Read the current page content (text, links, images) - Fill forms on your behalf - Click buttons and navigate - Take screenshots for analysis - Extract data from tables and lists

This is different from Browser Relay (which uses a headless browser). The Chrome Extension works in YOUR browser session — logged into your accounts, with your cookies. This means the agent can interact with authenticated services without separate login credentials.

Security considerations: The extension only activates when you explicitly invoke it. It doesn't monitor your browsing passively. All communication between the extension and Gateway is encrypted.
